Proposed Housing Development of 35 units at
Flinter’s Field, Athy Co. Kildare
Part VIII
Reference P82017-006
The proposed development will comprise of:
a.) A total of 35 no. residential units comprising of:
i. 5 no. four bed units;(1 no. detached disabled accessible bungalow , and 4 no. two storey houses all with accessible ground floor inc bedroom (1 no. detached, 1 no. semi- detached ,2 no. end terrace,)
ii. 18 no. three bed units ;( all two storey, 11no. semi –detached, 3 no.end of terrace and 4 no. mid –terrace)
iii. 12 no. two bed units; (all two storey, 5no. end of terrace, 7 no. mid terrace) with
iv. Renewable energy design measures for each housing unit, and
b.) supporting development works including (i) improvements to the pedestrian link to Woodstock St; (ii) underground surface water attenuation; (iii) connection to existing foul and water services; (iv) temporary construction signage; (v) estate signage; (vi) site boundary treatments comprising walls and fencing; (vii) landscaping, including new natural children’s play area (vii) lockable pedestrian/cyclist link to canalside pathway and (viii) all associated site works.
Plans and particulars of the proposed development (Part 8 Ref No. P82017 – 006) will be available for inspection or purchase for a fee not exceeding the reasonable cost of making a copy, at the offices of Kildare County Council, Level 2, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare,and at request at the public counter at Athy Municipal District Offices, Rathstewart, Athy during its public opening hours during the period from 4th May 2017 until 16th June 2017 (both dates inclusive).
Plans and particulars of the proposed development will also be available to view during that period on Kildare County Council’s website at www.kildare.ie/countycouncil.
Submissions and observations with respect to the proposed development and dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development would be situated, may be made in writing to: Mary Mc Carthy, Housing Department, Level 5, Kildare Co Council, Áras Chill Dara , Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare before 4.00pm on 3rd of July 2017
