Kildare County Council, gives notice in accordance with Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994 that it intends to close the following road during the period commencing Tuesday, 4 May 2021 to Friday, 25 June 2021 to facilitate the reconstruction of the existing Millbank Road.
It is envisaged that works will take approximately 8 weeks to complete. At least 7 days advance notice of implementation of road closure will be provided.

Alternative Route:
Work will be carried out on a phased basis with different sections of the road closed throughout the period of works indicated above.
Local access will be maintained at all times.
Alternative routes will be via the new Sallins Bypass (R407), the new Sallins Link Road and the Clane Road (L3014). The alternative route will vary depending on the section of road being worked on.
Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
