Section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993
Roads Regulations, 1994
Notice is hereby given of the intention of Kildare County Council to close to public traffic the following public roads periodically during the period commencing Monday, 1 February 2021 to Friday, 30 April 2021 to facilitate the maintenance of the road network as per section 75 of the Roads Act, 1993 and the Roads Regulations, 1994.

Alternative Routes: VIA: 1. – N80; N78 2. – N78; N80 Eastbound traffic travelling from Stradbally to Athy on the R428 will be diverted along the N80 southwards to its junctions with the N78, turn left and travel northeast through Ballylynan to Athy. Westbound traffic travelling from Athy to Stradbally on the R428 will be diverted along the N78 southwest through Ballylynan to its junctions with the N80, turn right and travel northward to Stradbally. |

Diversionary routes will be clearly signposted, as agreed with the Council and An Garda Síochána. Emergency access and restricted local access will be maintained.
Any objections/observations should be lodged in writing to the Senior Executive Officer, Roads, Transportation & Public Safety, Kildare County Council, Áras Chill Dara, Devoy Park, Naas, Co. Kildare or by e-mail to roadssubmissions@kildarecoco.ie on or before 5.00 p.m. Monday, 11 January 2021.
