Notice of Adoption of Variation No. 1 of Kildare County Development Plan 2017-2023

Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 13 of the Planning & Development Acts 2000 (as amended) that, at its adjourned meeting on Tuesday, 9 June 2020, Kildare County Council adopted a Variation (Variation No. 1) of the Kildare County Development Plan 2017-2023.

The reason for the proposed variation report is to respond to the recent changes in national and regional policy, namely the publication of Project Ireland 2040: National Planning Framework (NPF), The Implementation Roadmap for the National Planning Framework and the Eastern and Midland Regional Assembly (EMRA) Regional Spatial and Economic Strategy (RSES).

Copies of the Development Plan as varied will be available for inspection on our website
