Author John G. O'Dwyer will host a talk in Athy Library on the benefits both spiritual and physical of hill walking on the Pilgrim Paths of Ireland.
This event will take place on Saturday 8th of December from 3pm to 4pm.
Booking is required and light refreshments will be served afterwards.

The Pilgrim Paths of Ireland are a collection of ancient religious routes with well documented claims of having been used by pilgrims since ancient times.Walking these ageless trails not only offers the opportunity for spiritual renewal but also provides a link to our past, while contributing to sustainable tourism and community development in each area.
John G. O'Dwyer is a tour operator and also teaches tourism to further education students. A keen hillwalker and rock-climber, he is a founder member of Mid-Tipp Hillwalkers and has almost twenty-five years' experience of leading hillwalking and mountain climbing groups in Ireland, the UK, Europe and Africa
