Bernard is a fixer, he loves to fix things. He believes that every nut has its bolt and that everything makes complete logical sense, just like his life.
Maimie sees the world in a completely different wayyâ? if it’s broke, why fix it?
When Maimie calls upon Bernard to repair her chaotic cart, he finds a world where broken possessions have a value and where life’s possibilities are endless.
What will this mean for Bernard’s timetabled and very logical life? This is where the story begins...
There will be a short ‘Chatback’ session after the performance to give the young audience an opportunity to discuss their experience of the story.
Cups and Crown will run a free workshop before each show where pupils will explore the themes of the play. Using ‘process drama’, the facilitator will help the children to gain a better understanding of the artistic processes and themes in the performance.
*Max 30 pupils per workshop. Free places will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. Contact Box Office 045 448327 for details
