In order to accommodate the fifteen race programme, the circuit will introduce Saturday evening qualifying, which will run from 16:00, allowing racing to commence earlier than ever on Sunday.

Heading up the entry list will be the two most closely contested Irish championships, Formula Vee and the Fiat Abarth Cup. The Vee's will race twice starting with a qualifying race, from which the top finishers will move up to join the fastest drivers from qualifying who will have already booked their place in the final. The Vee final will then see a full grid of thirty two cars take to the track to battle for championship points. The Abarth Cup has emerged this season as the strongest of the one-make saloon series and these closely matched cars should match the Vee's in terms of race action if not in terms of grid size. The Abarths will have two championship rounds and will be one of the classes to experience Saturday afternoon qualifying for the first time.

Sunday's event will also see the first visit to Mondello Park of a relatively new Northern Irish championship with the appearance of the Northern Ireland Sevens Challenge. The Sevens Challenge is a championship for any Lotus Seven type kit car including chassis from Stryker, Locost & Westfield, with all cars using a motorcycle engine of up to 929cc. The championship runs across Racing, Sprints and Hillclimbs and has been in existence since 2007. A grid of twelve to fifteen cars is expected to contest the two championship rounds in what is hoped will be the first of many annual visits to Mondello Park.

The remaining classes on the busy programme will include double headers for a combined grid of the Supercar and Porsche Open classes, the Stryker Challenge and a combination of the Fiat Punto's and Uno's, while Formula Libre, Formula Sheane and Historics will race just once. Racing will commence at 10:40 on Sunday with the last race set for 17:25.

Regular Adult admission for Sunday's event is €15.00 with children under 16 admitted free. Two special offers on admission prices are also available. Individual admission can cost just €10.00 with a voucher printed from the special offers page of the Mondello Park web site, see www.mondellopark.ie/specials while groups of spectators arriving together can gain admission for the bargain price of just €20.00 per car with up to five passengers.
