Irish Life and Lore – Launch of the 1916 Rising Oral History Collection of Co. Kildare participants by Maurice O’Keeffe, Irish Life and Lore.

Nine recordings compiled by Maurice O’Keefe are featured in the collection. The oral testimonies given by family members are: Tom Byrne, Organiser for County Kildare; Domhnall Ua Buachalla, Maynooth Company, Irish Volunteers; Pat and Jim Dunne, Kill Company, Irish Volunteers; Tom Harris, Prosperous Company, Irish Volunteers; Se??n McGlynn, Monasterevan, Boland's Mill garrison; Frank Burke, Carbury, GPO garrison; Eamon Broy, Rathangan, Dublin Metropolitan Police; Capt. Harry de Courcy Wheeler, Robertstown, British army staff officer.

CDs will be available to purchase on the night.
