To coincide with the local authority housing development on Athgarvan Road, a Per Cent for Art artwork was commissioned. 

The resulting artworks, 4 cast concrete trees embellished with mosaic tiles, was created by artist Katy Palmieri-Seddiq, in collaboration with artist Karim Seddiq. 

Come along and join us for a naming ceremony to kick off Culture Night Kildare and meet the artists.

Katy was born in France and has a Degree in Visual Arts and Dance. 
She moved to Ireland in 1997 where she developed a practice in mixed work, recycled materials and mosaic.  You can see another example of Katy’s work in mosaic at St Anne’s National School, Ardclough
