Opening of exhibitions: The Value of Rubbish; "Birds" - Arts Council; "The Head"; Bog Oak; Travellers Exhibition; Photographic Exhibition and more besides.

Crooked House Hosts :
Gaze while you graze, lunchtime series: by Molière 1-2pm daily.
Opening of Exhibition - Josephine Hardiman Bank Of Ireland


WEDNESDAY 28th April:

Crooked House Theatre Co.
Gaze While You Graze and also presents a night of improvised theatre based on audience suggestions VTOS 8pm. £4.


THURS. 29th April:

8.00pm:  Public Forum in the Keadeen.
Theme: Hill of Allen. Looking at the hill from a historical, mythical and future perspectives - Speakers invited include: Dr Anne Behan, Dr. Daithi Hogán, Planning & Roadstone.

1-2pm: Lunchtime Classical Music Recital - Christina Connor Violinist,
Alan Prendergast Flautist - Newbridge Music Services and Supplies - George's St.
7-9 p.m.: Opening Ceremony agus "Feet On the Street Party"

10-12 pm: Internationally acclaimed corkman - Jimmy Crowley - Eyre Powell .


SATURDAY 1st May:

8.30am:  Bogwalk: Clongorey.
10-1pm:  Holistic Workshops in the Parish Centre.
10-4pm: Environment Kildare Workshops - Eyre Powell.
1-2pm: Crooked House Theatre Performances VTOS George's St.

Lunchtime Classical Concert -Aiden Feely -pianist; Vincent Thorpe - Clarinetist.
2-5 pm:  Arts & Craft Fair Conleths National School .
2-5pm:   Norman / Celtic Exhibition George's St.
6-15pm:  Bealtaine Mass - St. Conleths Parish Church
6-30pm:  Lorraine Nolan sings in St Patricks -   Church of Ireland
8-00pm: Literary Event with Desmond Egan, Rose Doyle and Shane Connaughton

12-2pm: Jazz in the pubs.
12-2pm: Pub Theatre.
1-2pm: Kildare Youth Theatre at Crooked House present their own show .
2.30: Norman Parade to battle with the Celts.
3.00: Norman Battle on the strand and the Living
History.
4-6pm:  Afternoon Delight - Local personalities read their
favourite poems and sing their favourite songs- Romas Pantry. Adm. £2

6.30 - 8pm:  County Kildare Orchestra and the Thomas Aquinas Singers - Newbridge College.
9 pm - 2am: Dance with ABBAESQUE and a local band,also featuring the Euro Swingers. - Keadeen Hotel.

11-1pm: Soccer Blitz Body Art; Mask and Basketball Making; Samba;Treasure Hunt,
Stilt-walking and Gaelic Football.

1-2pm: Kildare Youth Theatre present their own show .

Lunchtime classical concert -Music Services
George's St- Derek Dunne guitarist; Pat McNamera - Trumpeter
2-4pm:  - Public Band Recital By the River Facing the Library featuring Patrician Pipe band Narraghmore Pipe band; Maynooth Community Band and the Newbridge Community band.

2-4pm: Songs/Choir Calligraphy, Trash Fash Song writing, Drama
4-6pm:  Local Bands Spinning Discs.
8.00pm:  Annual Group exhibition (Association of Kildare Artists)
Liffey Arts Research Centre Victoria Bridge
There will be an open day of the LHD Community Centre and the unveiling of their sign.
We are delighted to announce that MACNAS, the street theatre organisation are sending four of their artists to live in Newbridge for the month of April to work with specific groups interested in performance.

We are also delighted to welcome 50 young people from Omagh who are travelling on Monday to take part in our Youth Festival.
