Description:
Athy Toastmaster attracts a wide range of people from diverse backgrounds. It provides a great opportunity for meeting new people, building confidence and learning new skills. The Club meets on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of every month in the Church of Ireland Centre, Athy at 19:50pm.
Athy Toastmasters is affiliated to Toastmasters International, which is a non-profit, educational organisation providing communication and leadership skills to a wide network of over 290,000 people.
The club is open to anyone over the age of 18. The people who join Athy Toastmasters come from every walk-of-life regardless of occupation, education, age or background. Athy Toastmasters prides itself on being very open and welcoming to all members and guests. It may be this aspect of the club that attracts people to join and travel even from places such as Tullow, Portlaoise and Naas.
