EVENTS
During the Special Olympics 2003, a number
of events will take place in each host town countrywide. Details
of the major events (Torch Run, Symposium, Healthy Athlete, Opening/Closing
Ceremonies) can be found on the Special
Olympics 2003 web site
However, each host town will provide a number of events for visiting
athletes and their delegation during the actual games. Art exhibitions
will be held countrywide in June displaying art from participating
special needs groups from each international delegation staying
in each host town. Each exhibition will give the community the opportunity
to get involved.
