Parks owned and managed by Kildare County Council

There are 19 parks in Kildare that are owned and managed by Kildare County Council. These vary in size from 0.5 hectares (1.2 acres) to 16 hectares (40 acres). 

A full list of the parks and their locations are available below.  You can explore and engage in a variety of activities from having looped and linear walks, playing pitches, playgrounds and outdoor gyms.  They also cater for passive activities with seating and picnic benches.

Other Parks and Amenities

There are other parks available in Kildare which are not managed by Kildare County Council. These are Castletown House in Celbridge which is managed by the Office of Public Works; forest parks such as Donadea Forest Park and Killinthomas Woods, Rathangan. Moore Abbey Woods, Monasterevin and Mullaghreelan Woods, Kilkea; managed by Coillte

Pollardstown Fen near Newbridge and Ballynafagh Lake outside Prosperous; both managed by National Parks and Wildlife Service
