Clearly printed weight dockets stating the registration number of vehicle and the unladen weight are acceptable by Kildare Motor Tax Office for taxation purposes from the above weigh bridges. Kildare MTO will not accept printed weight dockets issued/dated over 3 months for either 1st time owners or any subsequent registered owner(s).

Note, articulated vehicles (vehicle and semi-trailer) which are being taxed for the first time by a new owner (i.e. new,previously registered imports, or change of ownership) also require a Weigh Masters Certificate which can be completed and signed off by authorised staff at any of the above listed Approved Weighbridges.
