A 2014 publication Called to serve. Presidents of the Institution of Civil Engineers of Ireland 1835-1968 by Ronald Cox and Dermot O’Dwyer contains a short biography of each of the presidents of ICEI. Among the presidents from the period covered are three Kildaremen: Sir Richard Griffith, of Millicent, Naas; Francis Bergin, Beechgrove, Kildare; and Michael Buckley, Maynooth.
