The Military Cross

Captain H. Graham de Burgh, Royal Field Artillery, who was decorated by the King with the Military Cross on Monday, is a son of the late Mr. Hugo de Burgh, who was killed in the South African war, and of Mrs. Gerald Dunne, of Black Hall, Co. Kildare.  Captain de Burgh went to France at the beginning of the war and was wounded at Ypres in May, 1915.  He went out again in April, 1916, but was sent back the following August, as the old wound had begun to give him trouble.
