Dublin released prisoners match

Lively interest centres in the meeting at Croke Park tomorrow in a novel football contest, in aid of Dublin released prisoners, between city born players and county born players resident in Dublin. A keen game is expected. The teams are:-

Shanahan (St. Mary’s), J. Murphy (Keatings), Gerald Doyle (Geraldines). Subs. – M. Hampson, J. Teeling (St. Brendans), C. Grace, T. Carey (O’Tooles).

Country born – P. Fallon (goal), J. Sherlock, J. Walshe, J. Stynes, Frank Burke (Kildare), J. Kirwan Connolly (Galway), J. Hunt (Mayo), J. Norris (Meath), M. Holland (Clare), P. Colleran, M. In addition to the football match there will be a 10 miles cycle race and a 4 miles flat race (open handicap).
