Found Pike of 1798

In the thatch of a dwellinghouse at Castlefarm, Narraghmore, a beaded pike, believed to have belonged to Capt. James Bermingham and used in the Battle of Kilcullen in 1798, has been found. The find was made by Mr. Bartle Brown, Kildare County Council overseer, who recently bought the farm to which the dwelling belongs.
