The late Jim Clarke

Jim Clarke, one of Kildare’s great Gaels died on Tuesday, 3 January 2023.  The Ballymore Eustace native was a member of the Kildare team which won the Leinster Final in 1956 and was manager of the Kildare team which won the All Ireland U21 title in 1965 as well as Leinster championship successes in the following two years. Jim also managed the Kildare minors to a Leinster title in 1973. He also won county titles as a player at all levels with his club, Ballymore Eustace.
