KILDARE DECADE OF COMMEMORATIONS 2021
The work of the County Kildare Decade of Commemorations Programme for 2021 is continuing apace, including several recent publications and events organised. Further activities are planned for the remaining months of 2021, while work is also progressing on significant 2022 centenary anniversaries for County Kildare. The Kildare Decade of Commemorations Programme is supported by the County Kildare Decade of Commemorations Committee, chaired by Cllr Pádraig McEvoy, (Kildare County Council) and the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media under the Decade of Centenaries 2012-23 initiative. The Programme is administered by the Local Studies, Genealogy & Archives Department of Kildare Library & Arts Service.
