NAAS  ACTOR’S LONDON SUCCESS

The  London theatrical critics are unanimous in their praise of the three Irish  actors  who  shine  out  with  a strange  radiance in the revival at the  Arts Theatre of  J.  M.  Synge’s The Well  of  the  Saints.  A play perfect  in  formal pattern and exquisite in  style;  they are  Miss Maureen Moore,  Mr. W.  G. Fay and Mr. Tony Quinn. Mr.  Quinn, an ex-Abbey player is  a  native of  Naas; his brother,  Mr.  Denis Quinn, a  Surveyor under the Kildare  County  Council, was  killed  in a  road accident a  few years ago.

Mr. Quinn has played various featured leads both on stage and screen in London in recent years.
