Naas tributes to executed I.R.A. men

The funerals of three I.R.A. men executed during the emergency – Geo. Plant, Clonmel; Maurice O’Neill, Cahirciveen and Charles Kerins, Tralee – passed through Naas on Saturday last. The funerals halted at the Railway Bridge, Naas, when floral wreaths were placed on the remains on behalf of Naas Republicans by three children – Marguerite Noone, Joan Purcell and Nan McAssey.
