Maynooth request

At a meeting of the Maynooth Labour Party, on the proposition of Mr. Jack Dempsey, seconded by Mr. Michael Kilmartin, it was decided to ask the Kildare County Council to name the twenty-two new houses on the Dublin Road “O’Neill Park,” in respect to the memory of the late Mr. Denis O’Neill, a life long supporter of the Labour movement, and representative of the Party on the County Council for many years.

Mr. Denis Meade was appointed Chairman of the Branch in succession to the late Mr. O’Neill.
