2015 will mark the running of the 150th Irish Derby which was inaugurated in 1866. The Curragh Racecourse are activiely seeking any or all photographs of past Irish Derby winners etc. particularly any photographs from the 1950s and preceding years. If any member of the public or local history groups could help, it would be greatly appreciated. Kildare Library & Arts Services hope to partner with the Racecourse in 2015 and bring the story to the attention of the public and children in schools throughout the county.
