SERGEANT J. DEVOY, ROYAL DUBLIN FUSILIERS

Sergeant J. Devoy, of the Royal dublin Fusiliers, a most popular officer at the naas Depot and who recently was awarded the Distinguished Conduct Medal for gallantry at the front has received a further honour at the hands of the french Military Authorities. His gallant actions, which are chronicled in this column in a previous issue, have received further recognition by the award of the Medalle Militaire, the french equivalent of the D.C.M., the official notification of which has given great pleasure to the gallant and popular Sergeant’s numerous friends.
