TWO MEDIEVAL FESTIVALS IN COUNTY KILDARE FOR HERITAGE WEEK

Kildare Town Medieval Festival

The first ever Kildare Town Medieval Festival will take place on Sunday 23rd August 2015 from 12:30pm to 6:00pm. It promises to be a fun day out for all the family with an exciting mix of events taking place in three key locations in the town.

Kildare Town Park will play host to Fire Juggling, Archery, Battle Re-enactments and Craft Demonstrations.

St Brigid’s Cathedral will have guided tours at 2pm and 3pm and organ recitals at 2.30pm and 3.30pm. There will also be a Falconry Display and Story Telling, finishing with a Concert at 5pm.

And a fabulous Craft and Food Market will run throughout the day in Top Nolan’s Car Park.
