Toberara is a grave yard located 1.5 miles north of Athy. A church was present on the site in olden times. The pilgrimage takes place Sunday, 24th June, Feast of St. John, once patron of the area.

It will commence at 3pm from St. Vincent’s Hospital (Stradbally Road), stopping at Cuan Mhuire and finishing in Toberara with prayers, hymns and reflections.

Advance clean up for the event takes place Thursday, 14th June, meeting at Toberara gates at 7 pm.
