Join An Taisce and mycologists Howard Fox and Maria Cullen for an afternoon of seasonal food foraging on a Mushroom Hunt! 

We will be taking to the woods of Donadea Forest Park in search of the tastiest wild mushrooms to pick this autumnal season. 

You will learn about the ecology of our forest fungi, how to identify which species are edible and which are poisonous, as well as the correct ways to pick mushrooms and general good wild mushroom harvesting practice.

Wrap up warmly and bring your baskets (no plastic bags please) for what will be an enchanting and educational walk through the autumn woods!
