Sean Rooney, the 21 year old winner of the Brennan Prize at the 2015 Dublin International Piano Competition, will preform in the palatial surroundings of the entrance hall of Castletown House as part of Heritage Week.

A student of Professor Christopher Elton at the Royal Academy of Music in London, Seán has was a runner up in the BBC Young Musician of the Year competition in 2010.

This is a wonderful opportunity to catch Seán during a busy summer of impressive engagements including a recital at the 2015 World Piano Teacher's Conference in Serbia and his debut with the RTE National Symphony Orchestra.
