Local historian, Paddy Behan, will be giving a talk on the history of the Tower

The tower commands extensive views of the Dublin, Wicklow and Slieve Bloom mountains, as well as the Curragh plains and the surrounding Bog of Allen. On each step of the tower is inscribed the names of the men and women who built it. There is a trail up to the tower, suitable footwear required.
