Invitation to 1916 Commemoration Book Launch

Hail to the Flag: through the turbulent years is a collection of poetry by Kildare poet and nationalist Teresa Brayton; selected by Bernadette Gilligan, it covers a timeline of Irish history leading up to the Rising and its aftermath, the Irish Diaspora and the emigrants’ lament for homeland.

The launch will take place in Newtown Community Centre, Enfield, Co. Kildare on Friday, April 1st at 8.00pm.

Refreshments will be served on the night.
