Emma Tobin

Emma Tobin is a 23-year old writer from Newbridge, Co. Kildare. She was shortlisted for the Hennessey New Irish Writing award in 2015 for poetry. She is a two-time winner of the Stories for the Ear competition run by Kildare County Council and a two-time winner of the Trócaire/Poetry Ireland poetry competition in the Senior Post Primary category (2015 & 2016). Emma received the Dennis O’Driscoll Emerging Writer bursary from Kildare County Council in 2020. She is currently working towards an MFA in Creative Writing in UCD.
