Mission Statement

Monasterevin Historical Society is dedicated to preserving and promoting the history and heritage of Monasterevin. Knowledge of a common history and heritage is essential in fostering a shared sense of identity, community and place. MHS carries out its mission by:

 

Membership

Membership of the Monasterevin Historical Society is open and free. If you want to participate turn up at a meeting, drop us a line, or contact the committee. Start by clicking here. Although there is no annual membership fee anyone attending a meeting of the society is asked to contribute toward the expense of renting the venue, usually 2euro. 

Members are eligible for election to the committee as well as participation in Society trips and outings.
