County Kildare Social Inclusion Week

County Kildare Social Inclusion Week

Monday September 28 to Friday October 2

Kildare Public Participation Network in collaboration with County Kildare LEADER Partnership will be hosting County Kildare Social Inclusion Week between Monday the 28th of September and Friday the 2nd of October.

Social inclusion is the process of improving the terms of participation in society, particularly for people who are disadvantaged, through enhancing opportunities and access to resources.

Now in it's fourth year, County Kildare Social Inclusion Week began as a way highlight the fantastic work that is being done by community groups and organisations throughout County Kildare to promote social inclusion within our communities.

Each year these groups and organisations open their doors to the public, hosting events throughout the week, showcasing their work. This year due to Covid-19 as out usual format cannot take place, we have moved County Kildare Social Inclusion Week online.

Although there may not be any public events to physically attend this year, it still promises to be a fantastic event with a great variety of webinars on offer throughout the week.
