St. Evin's School has a long tradition of fundraising for the Missions.

Our Weekly Mission Programme is on hold this year due to Covid-19 restrictions.

In previous years, a mission collection was held in each class on Fridays, and children were encouraged to make a donation to the mission fund to help those less fortunate in poorer parts of the world. This initiative supports the objectives of the SPHE Curriculum and the Religious Programme in our school. All the mission donations were directed specifically towards children in need. Our school is affiliated to The Irish Society of Missionary Children, www.wmi.ie. We also made donations directly to people we know personally who are working in Missions in various parts of the world. The Mission Raffle which promoted the mission collections in the classes was sponsored by FitzPatrick's Texaco Garage in Monasterevin. Promotion of Mission awareness and management of funds are co-ordinated by Ms. French.
