Military graveyard on the Curragh of Kildare
It is located on the eastern side of the Curragh Camp, near Donnelly's Hollow on the road between Newbridge and Kilcullen.
There are approximately 104 graves in the cemetary according to records, mainly British servicemen who died at the camp during World War I.
The Lych-gate entrance is dated VR 1869.
A pedestrian entrance to the left of the gate allows access to the cemetery.

The Military Cemetery was last used in 1922
The Curragh has historically been a military assembly area, due to the wide expanse of the Curragh Plain. It is mentioned in the Annals of the Four Masters.
Modern Day Camp
The Curragh Camp is now home to the Defence Forces Training Centre of the Irish Defence Forces.
