THE MOTOR RACE OCCASIONAL LICENSES.
At a special convened meeting of the magistrates of Castledermott
Petty Sessions District held on the 29th May, and which was
summoned for the purpose of considering the advisability of
granting occasional licenses for the day of the motor race it
was unanimously resolved - "That it is our unanimous opinion
it would be most dangerous and most indiscreet that any occasional
licenses should be granted any parties in this Petty Sessions
District for the day of the motor race." The resolution
is signed by Lord Walter Fitzgerald who presided, and Messrs.
Richard Wright, P. P. Farnan, and John Gannon, J. P's.
