____________September Editorial_____________

September, month of fruit, berries, harvest time, with summer over, and Kildare Leinster Champions once again! - Well done to the men in white. Congratulations to all who completed the Leaving Cert., we wish you well in your quest for a place in College, or the commencement of a career.

With schools open again, we would to remind road users to be extra careful, as our roads become busier, especially at school starting and finishing times.

Details of our Parish Mission are featured in this edition. Check the days and times of the Mission Ceremonies listed herein. All are invited to participate in the Mission.

All areas (Coill Dubh, Donadea, Staplestown, Timahoe) will hold their respective AGMs this month (Sept.). We would urge all of you to attend, especially new residents and young people. Check locally for when your area AGM takes place.

This month the MONA has been produced with the help of ACDAL and in particular Ian Donald, who have made computer facilities available to us in Allenwood. This means that more people can get involved in the production of the Newsletter so if you are interested contact Morna at 869977. New contributors of articles are always welcome also, as are contributions from the children.

The Tir Na Mona Umbrella Group will hold it’s AGM next month. Details of this event will appear in the October edition of Mona. Until then we wish you all well.
