Miss Irene Tyndall

The death took place unexpectedly at her residence, Ballyrogan, Dublin Road, Naas, on Wednesday, of Miss Irene Tyndall. She was a member of a highly popular and respected family. She was a member of Naas hockey team which won the All-Ireland Junior Cup, and later played with Naas in the Dublin Senior League.

The remains were removed to the Church of Our Lady and St. David on Wednesday evening and received by Rev. S. Swayne, C.C. Interment is on Friday at 1 p.m. in St. Corban’s Cemetery. She is survived by her brothers, Rev. William Tyndall, O.Carm., Whitefriars Street, Dublin, Joseph, John and Cletus; her sister, Mrs. B. Keogh, Tullow, Co. Carlow. She was predeceased by her brothers, Rev. C. Tyndall, O.Carm., Kinsale, and Mr. G. Tyndall, an Irish International hockey player who was killed in a road accident.
