The County Kildare Archaeological Society’s seminar: ‘The End of the Great War and Ireland in 1918’ will take place in the Killashee House Hotel on Saturday 10th November 2018. This seminar, through its contributors, will reflect on the enormous issues facing Ireland,100 years ago, and the Society is honoured to have Diarmaid Ferriter give the keynote lecture. The seminar is an integrate part of the National Calendar of Events published earlier this year in the Irish Times and the Society is delighted that the event is being supported by Kildare County Council and the County Kildare Decade of Commemoration Committee.
