THE END OF THE GREAT WAR IN 1918 – CO. KILDARE ARCHAEOLOGICAL SOCIETY SEMINAR

The County Kildare Archaeological Society’s seminar: ‘The End of the Great War and Ireland in 1918’ will take place in the Killashee House Hotel on Saturday 10th November 2018.  This seminar, through its contributors, will reflect on the enormous issues facing Ireland,100 years ago, and the Society is honoured to have Diarmaid Ferriter give the keynote lecture. The seminar is an integrate part of the National Calendar of Events published earlier this year in the Irish Times  and the Society is delighted that the event is being supported by Kildare County Council and the County Kildare Decade of Commemoration Committee.  Please find attached; a copy of the programme and booking details for your information and the Society would be delighted to have you participate in this important event. The Society wishes to point out, that early booking is essential, to secure  seats and for the provision of lunch which is included in the cost.
