County Kildare FAS Community Training Projects are Initatives under the National Development Plan Supported by the EU

The county of Kildare combines with Dublin West to form the FÁS region of Dublin West and Kildare - one of ten such regions nationwide. The administrative headquarters of the region is the Ballyfermot Training Centre, where the Regional Director and a number of the Regional Managers are located. For operational reasons Kildare is divided into two sub-regions to service the north and south county respectively. Sub Regional Offices are located in Celbridge and Naas. FÁS training initiatives are budgeted at two main priority groups... early school leavers and the long-term-unemployed.
